Paul Milburn Tutoring Center

The LASSO Center’s Tutoring Program is a service offering one-on-one tutoring to any OSU student  needing assistance.

Qualified tutors meet GPA & course content standards and are approved by the LASSO Center staff. The Center offers tutoring for every college on campus. Students may request tutoring for any course in which they are currently enrolled.

Though tutoring isn’t always available for every course on campus, the LASSO staff will gladly work to find a tutor or provide alternative options if a suitable tutor can’t be identified. Tutoring appointments are scheduled in one hour increments.

Appointments are available to students at no additional cost. However, if a student cancels after 9 p.m. the night before their appointment OR does not show up to their appointment, they will be charged a $15 fee to their Bursar account.

LASSO Tutoring is available by appointment in one hour sessions, Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

This semester tutoring will be available in-person and online. Choose your preferred location while making your appointment on STAR. Confirmation information will be sent to students once they have made an appointment through the STAR System. For online sessions, your Webex link will under "additional details" in your STAR confirmation and reminder emails.
