At OSU there is no such thing as majoring in Pre-Law, but some degrees offer a pre-law option. Degrees with pre-law options provide opportunities for students still exploring their overall interest in the legal field to take coursework on a variety of topics that either touch on concepts relevant to the study of law or on skills that may be useful for students pursuing legal educations. 

Many students interested in law pursue degrees with pre-law options, but just as many opt to pursue degrees without pre-law options.
