Our Mission
Scholarships are an important way to accomplish your goals at Oklahoma State University, whether to enhance your education or to help reduce the cost of attendance.  While many of our scholarships relate to undergraduate research, we also offer several for students with other interests.  Here you will find information on our two types of awards:  Scholarships at OSU and National/International Awards. If you are interested in any of these scholarships, please do not hesitate to contact our office to plan for your future.
We also encourage all students to utilize our Application Resources page.

Opportunities
National and International Awards include prestigious scholarships and fellowships whereby most students must be nominated by their university to compete.  These awards are categorized as either national or international.
Most of the national awards (Udall and Goldwater) can be applied to as both a sophomore and junior, however, the Truman can only be applied for as a junior.  Almost all of the international awards are for senior applicants only.
OSU has a strong record of success in preparing students for prestigious national and international scholarships and fellowships.  These awards are some of the most sought after opportunities across the country.  Our office assists students in identifying which award might best fit their experience and interest, as well as helps students navigate the oftentimes complicated application processes.
Beyond assisting students refine application materials and prepare for interviews, we counsel students on how to develop the academic profiles necessary to make them competitive for prestigious national and international awards.  We encourage that all students, including first year undergraduates, schedule an appointment with our office as soon as possible to start discussing their undergraduate career timeline with us.  Please do not hesitate to call our office at 405-744-7313 or stop by the office at 334 Student Union.

Scholarships

National Awards

OSU is allowed to nominate a limited number of students to compete for three important national scholarships, the Truman, Goldwater, and Udall.

International Awards

Our office provides mentoring to students who are interested in attending graduate school in both the UK and Ireland, as well at institutions within the United States.  The most common of the prestigious international and domestic graduate school awards that OSU students apply for are listed below.

Application Resources

We strongly recommend that students schedule an appointment, call, or drop by the office to speak with our staff about applying for a particular scholarship before starting the application. This may save a considerable amount of time and energy, as well as, shed light on unexpected paths that one has not yet considered. If you are currently applying for a scholarship, whether an OSU award or a national/international award, you are encouraged to use the online resources that our office has compiled.
