Freshman Research Scholars Schedule
Freshman Research Scholars will gather to learn about important program requirements and guidelines. Former FRS will share their experiences with undergraduate research and offer strategies for successfully conducting projects.
*This event varies for each college, and might take place via Zoom.
Ethics is of critical importance to the proper performance of research. We will discuss several aspects of the responsible conduct of research and institutional compliance.

Completion of RCR training is mandatory for all FRS scholarship recipients and should ideally be completed in the fall.
PROGRESS REPORT DEADLINE
MENTOR AGREEMENT DEADLINE
To remain eligible for the program scholarship, all current Freshman Research Scholars are required to submit the Progress Report, which describes their activities during the fall semester and explains their plans for the spring. Faculty mentoring FRS projects must confirm the arrangement by submitting the Mentor Agreement. Both of these are forms we will send you to complete.
PRE-RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM INFORMATION SESSIONS

Freshman Research Scholars Symposium
All current Freshman Research Scholars will present the results of their research experience at the symposium in the form of a poster. *If an in-person event is not possible, there will be a virtual symposium.
