About Us

The Office of Transfer & Veteran Academic Support Services was established in 2015 as part of a larger initiative to promote seamless transfer into OSU from our 12 Oklahoma Community Colleges and to raise awareness and support of the student veteran and military population on campus. Over the last 5 years, our office has evolved and grown into the new Department of Transfer & Student Veteran Success. Our department serves three roles which are interconnected: Transfer Studen Success, Student Veteran Success, Transfer Academic Support Services.

Mission

The Oklahoma State University Office of Transfer & Student Veteran Success provides a holistic transfer and student veteran experience that assists them as they transition into the University, helps students prepare for a rewarding academic career & student experience and promotes their progress toward graduation and into their desired career field.

Veteran success at Oklahoma State can be attributed to three broad objectives: (1) initiating, cultivating and sustaining relationships between veterans and the OSU community through the Student Veteran Success Center, (2) providing tangible resources and activities designed to foster the veterans' sense of connectedness to the university, and (3) raising awareness among the university community of the student veteran experience.
